THIS SUNDAY (25/8) will be our final Home Game for 2013
**we are hoping for a good crowd of supporters across all Youth and Senior games**
So please come along and support our teams, our canteen and the following club fundraisers:
Season Raffle: It is essential to the club that we drive through our sales of raffle tickets. Prizes will be on display at the ground and the club is depending on all books of tickets being sold. All players need to have their books returned to their coaches this week at training. We ask that all players, families and supporters purchase raffle tickets at Sunday’s home game, particularly if you haven’t already done so. Tickets will be available at the canteen.
Team Photo: orders may be made on Sunday at the home game - photos will be on display for U16s, U18s & U20s. The 1st Grade team photo will be taken on Sunday and orders may be placed between now and the end of the season. The club will endeavour to deliver all photo orders at the remaining training sessions at games. If orders are received later than this, photos will be for collection at the dinner. Photos are $20 each with all proceeds going directly to the club.
Also, the IST Charity Boot & Shin Pad collection will be finalised on Sunday. We are looking for youth-sized boots in good condition, so please empty your cupboards and your friends’ cupboards - your outgrown boots will make a difference to kids far less fortunate.
The End of Season Presentation Dinner is set for 6pm Saturday 26th October. We appreciate this is later than usual - we have chosen this date to avoid the October long weekend and because the Madeira Club is not available on the interim weekends. The pricing will be as for the pre-season dinner. Please make all payments to Sarah Chance or Frank Ferreira either at Thursday night training or at the remaining games. U16-U20 players free of charge, Adults $45 single/$80 double, Children $25.
At this time of year, the club is interested in making contact with potential 2014 sponsors. Please contact Joe Pinto if you are able to recommend any organisations where you have contacts, who may be interested in speaking with our club regarding tax-deductable sponsorship in 2014.
